Try putting the card in the card reader on your computer to check if images are being recorded then you may need a repair.

I don't have a manual written in English, that's all I speak

You don't "need" special software to see the images from your camera. Hook the camera up via the USB port on your computer. A cable should have been supplied with the camera and replacements are available at Wal-Mart and other stores. Once the camera is hooked up and turned on, the computer should detect it and you can go into "My Computer" (or "Computer" if you're using Vista) and you should see a listing for the camera. Double click it as you would any other drive, and you should see a folder within that will contain your images. You can click onto each image to view. If you want to send an image, know what the other person wants to do with it. If you simply want to show them the image, there's no reason to send a full resolution image. Go into a photo editing program and resize the image to around 800X600 pixels at a resolution of 72 pixels per inch. If the person wants to print the images, send them a full resolution version- i.e., right out of the camera. Before you do this, make sure that their ISP will allow large attachment files and warn the person before sending, so that they know their e-mail will be slow in loading the image from the server onto their hard drive.

Can't upload movie onto computer...HELP!

Hello JKelley,
When you connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable, wait for few seconds for the computer to recognize the new member.. Now check under "My computer" ... You will have a new drive letter that represents your camera.
Double click on the camera drive letter and open it up as you normally do with other drives .. You can copy the images or videos from the drive to your computers desktop.

Let me know if that was helpful and Do not forget to rate the solution as "Fixya" :)
All the best for your Presentation.

Thanks and Regards,
Srinivas.

I have a fujifilm digital camera, every time i take photos i download them onto my computer using my usb cable , everything works fine. Suddenly for no reason it has stopped working, the images on the...

I would try to replace the usb cable, but it sounds more like a software problem not the camera. If the camera shuts off during transmission it will keep the pictures from transporting.

Problem with transfering images onto my Windows 98

you might have to remove the driver in safe mode of windows 98.

then reinstall the drivers for the camera after removal.

also look in the control panel for add/remove program and look for your camera drivers

if they are there remove them, and reinstall the drivers.

also there are some computer where the usb port could be failing, try the camera on another computer, but i really would suggest a card reader for camera, since it take away the wear and tear of the camera by hooking it up and turning it on for transferring the files. i just use a card reader, and just used the camera to take pictures.

How do I transfer pictures onto the memory card?

Go to the camera's "setup menu" and scroll down to the last option, "move images to card" That should put the images onto the memory card.

Memory stick

Have you actually loaded them to the computer then loaded them back onto the stick? Cameras cant read images very often when loaded back from the computer- because they changed image type from EXIF[camera] to JPEG normal computer image file. This should not prevent you getting the printed however.

Lost photos

Plug the camera to the computer. Go to where the images are and- go to Edit. Click on select all. Click on Copy. Now go find the Camera Icon- My Computer an extra Icon should have come up like a drive Click on open -right click in the folder - right click select paste. A word of warning It is possible that having got the images to the card - the camera will not recognize them This is because- depending on the software loaded the imaged will have been altered from EXIF[Camera type image] to JPEG[Computer type image] If this is so delete the images on the card and go online to www.convar.com and download PC-Inspector. Install the program on the computer Run it. Select the Camera with card in it and click on recover. Or simply click on camera and click on recover without back loading- except simply to prove a point.
