In both case, the problem is a defective display LCD panel.

You might be selected print in grey scale only.
Go the printer properties> printing preferences >color remove check mark then try it..

Some printers simply will not work if one of the cartridges is empty, even if you are not printing with the cartridge. The other catch might be is that some printers create grey scale by mixing colors so you might want to turn off grey scale and try printing just black and white.

When you go to print, select printer properties and select black and white printing, not gray scale photo printing. If this doesn't help, try cleaning the black cartridge or replacing it. Hope this helps!

just click print on the document and go properties and click draft(black), output for that is gray scale.

You do that via the Properties menu, go to printers Icon right click Icon and select "Properties" then look through to find, Color, Black & White & Grey Scale.

yes - in control panel - printer - properties set default as grey or grey scale or Add Printer and set the 'new' printer up as grey scale and call it 'printer B&W' so you can choose either a colour printer or a B&W printer.

in MS office you change pictures 's colour and print them in garyscale go to picture tool bar and change its colour and in printing prefrence from printer properties change dpi setting to save ink

hola, first have tranlate for spanish a english, mira yo tengo el mismo ecualizador, las entradas son (input) el rojo (red) es (+) y el negro (black) (-), el verde (green) es el canal izquerdo (left) y el gris (grey) es el canal derecho (right) eso es toda la entrada, los comunes o los negativos de las salidas del stereo no se conectan (las salidas del stereo tienen que conectarse como si fuera un sistema de solo 2 bocinas a la entrada del ecualizador), las salidas (output) serian azul (blue) comun izquerdo (L-),blanco (white) izquerdo frontal(+ front L), cafe (brown) izquerdo trasero (+ rear L), naranjo (orange) comun derecho (R-) ,violeta (violet) derecho trasero ( + rear R), amarillo (yellow) derecho frontal (+ front R)

Grey as you know is different shades of black. Uncompressed TIF can store this information. Compressed TIFF is not designed for this. Compressed TIFF is for blck & white only. Try JPG option. JPG can compress Color & Grey. For pure black & white chose TIFF compression.
