How to install a zebra 105sl printer
Install? Well that could mean a lot of different things. Just plug it up and run the ribbon and labels through their correct paths. I don't know anything about your network. (If you even need to set it up that way.) You can just connect it to the back of your PC. Follow this link. This will tell you all about the specifications of the 105SL. go to the configuration on the printer. Scroll through until you reach the network settings. You can display or print the results, which will show the MAC address. Also, if you have a PC on the same network, and you know the IP of the printer, you can look at your ARP tables and find the MAC associated with the IP. ARP -a at the dos prompt

If you are refering to print speed, from the label format, press F5 to bring up the LABEL & SETUP PROPERTIES. Click on LABEL OPTIONS and print speed will be the first choice.
If you are refering to how fast data is sent to the printer, then that depends on the connection to the PC and whether you are using true-type fonts or not.

In the driver there are settings for print speed, you will aslo need to access the menu on the printer and set the speed

check if the sensors behind the printhead (small metal open case)is on the same position that the uper sensor(black plastic bit with the screw behind the printhead) Run the sensor profile, check if he check the gap.
run manual calibration from the settings.
worst case senario, Reset the printer to Factory defult (Press PAUSE and CANCEL buttons and tun printer on, then relese the butons after 5 secounds.
