You may want to verify if the computer is the one that do not turn on. Please check if you see the fan on your computer is working and the LED in the mother board is lit.

IF the computer is working and no display on the monitor, despite seeing a green light on the monitor display, this means that monitor is well connected and communicating well with the cpu. Better check the inverter light on the monitor. Replace busted lights. These are responsible for the image you see in your lcd monitor. If the inverter lights are busted then you'll see only black screen.

No power at all

If your monitor doesn't turn on, and you are sure of the power supply (some plug directly into the wall and some use a power adapter), then you can assume that the monitor has failed.
You can fix it (replace the power supply in the monitor itself or possibly the on/off switch), have it fixed by someone who knows how to do this, or buy a new monitor.
First, of course, be sure the problem is your monitor and not the computer. If the monitor light turns green and then yellow, you can assume it's the computer. If the monitor light doesn't go on at all, it's the monitor.

My hd20 has a power-icon light of amber, when power button is pushed it goes to flashing green and it doesn't turn on, just flashes green

Have you tried decreasing the resolution of the computer?
When the resolution is too high for the projector, something similar to your description happens.

Green light on. computer wont turn on

Unfortunately, if the light is on, but the computer won't power on, it means one of two things. Either the power cord is broken in some way and no long sufficient to power the computer, OR the motherboard is dead. You can try to purchase a universal cable from Best Buy for instance, and then return it if it doesn't solve your problem. A motherboard repair would be best done through Acer themselves, although, it can cost over $300.

Im trying to charge my camera via computer. . there is a red light on the charge cable connector and a green light on the camera which i have switched "on". it still says "low battery even...

Hi, I'd suggest using a wall charger as they're able to provide more power to charge then a computers USB port. Often with camera's the USB port doesn't supply enough power so the camera doesn't charge at all.

It doen not turn on completly. The green light blinks about every 5 seconds but doesn't turn on.

it is not getting enough power. Use a two ended USB plug (both ends into computer) one into HD, or use external power adapter

Red/green lights both blink and tv will on turn on

Are the red and green lights blinking at the same rate or not? If the green light is blinking every 3 seconds and the red light is blinking every 1/2 second, the lamp door is not properly secured. If both lights are blinking at 1 second intervals, try replacing the lamp. If a new lamp doesn't solve the problem, the TV needs service.

I hope this helps.

My computers green light turns on but not the yellow one and the computer screen doesn't turn on.

You LCD went bad, although it could just be a loose ribbon cable inside the laptop. You need to have a technician look at it.
LCD replacements cost around $100 - $200 with parts and labor.
