Three blinks - B+ over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power supply circuit, check T603 and R672

Initially, the Sony KV-34HS510 uses the DA-4 Chassis. On this chassis, 7 blinks refers to the fault "Horizontal Deflection Stopped" indicating a problem with the horizontal section. Offhand, check, replace the HOut transistor and have the FBT (flyback transformer) ring tested.

Replace IC6501 & IC8002 [ MCZ3001D ] on D board.
If you are handy with electronics stuff repair and can solder parts in circuit board then replace above said ICs or call local TV tech to do the job.

Look for two integrated circuits marked MCZ3001D. These are 16 pin rectangular black plastic "chips". They are static and surge sensitive devices and are a "common" culprit for failure in this chassis. One or both may have failed. Also, if you can, near both of them is a ceramic cased resistor marked 0.1 ohm. If either one of these is open, then the two mosfet regulators (mounted on little individual heat sinks) marked C4834 on the parts are shorted and need to be replaced as well. (There are 4 of these in total in this set, one pair for each MCZ3001D SMPS driver...check all 4 for shorts. If your ohmeter reads zero between any of the pins, then its bad)

this ic drives and regulates the High Voltage section.

The problem, on the AE6B chassis at least, is usually an MCZ3001DB chip. There are three in the average Sony TV, one on the so-called A-Board and 2 on the D-Board. Usually the problem is caused by a faulty one on the D-Board near the two large switching FET's. In this case, replacing this will fix the problem.
