Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Go to My Computer and see if you see your camera as a drive or folder. If so, create a folder on your hard drive and name it a name that you will remember. Then open the camera's folder or drive. Select all the images in the camera, copy and paste them to the new folder you created. When you get to face book and select photo and select the option to upload them. Then select the folder contents to upload.

I have a video recording on my lexar multi use 4 gb sdhc card when i upload my pictures it loads them but is not loading the video recordings. My camera is panasonic DMC-TZ10! Please help!

1. Are you trying to upload to a program that only works with photos? 2. Are the videos shot in AVCHD lite? Most programs can't open it. Only works with PHOTOfunSTUDIO on a PC computer....won't work at all on a Mac.

Canon Powershot SD1000 Uploading Pics To Computer Problem

Since your two cameras have the same problem with the same computer, I would like to suggest you to connect those cameras to another computer. It looks like the problem is on the computer side.

try taking a picture with the auto selection. It automatically adjust light exposure and focus. There should be a little hand on the in the middle of the screen. Green means it's good, red is bad.
Take a couple pictures with this option and see how they turn out and let me know.

Wish to load my pic to ebay , from my canon pro1 camera

1.connect cam via usb link and check your cam.your cam will show option choose "data storage".the other options will need a software to be installed in the pc.
2.find the icon in my computer or at the right lower side of the monitor/screen which confirms the camera is connected. This will show the "drive"
3.click on the "drive"...until it shows the letters DCIM.
4 click again and now will show all the pictures on the camera.
5. choose what picture you like to upload from your cam to pc. you can also choose all of them.
6. if your done transfering your pictures to your pc you can now upload pictures to your ebay.
just click upload from your ebay profile.
7. then a "browse" will appear. cllick browse and find the folder where you save the pictures you have loaded from the cam to pc, and click okey/open.
8. check your ebay to confirm that the picture has been loaded.

this is the other way to load pictures from your cam to pc:

youll need a card reader hooked up to your computer via a USB and your memory card.
If required, youll load your memory card into the card reader. Your digital media will appear as another drive on your computer. Click the drive and your photos will appear in a folder on the drive. You can view your pictures immediately by double-clicking the file. From here, you can save your pictures directly to any folder on your computer.

i hope iwas able to help you! good luck!

Pictures not uploading to computer

Take the memory card out and see if you can load it into another computer using a card reader and see if the memory card is good.

It could be a bad cable but at least if you can copy the card to the hard drive have your pictures.
