Read the error code correctly.C04XX.The C04XX code refer to the exposure lamp section .

Minolta EP1052 - Operates but nothing prints on the paper. Toner seems OK. Can't get to print in any of the exposures.
Any ideas - or has it finally died??

May I suggest that you bring your unit to Level 2 of Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan. Most laptop experts have their service center located in that area. There is also group of experts in Gilmore, Quezon City

Drum Cleaning Blade failure. Open up the top half of the machine as if you were removing a paper jam. Now look under the top half and about in the center from left to right. You should see a burgundy colored cylinder running from the front of the machine to the back. If you can see the toner streaks on the surface....expecially on the 1/3rd like on the copy then this will be proof that the drum cleaning blade is the cause. Simple repair for a tech that knows copier basics. A good estimated cost would be about $25.00 for the blade and whatever the going rate is for a service call in your area.
