My ASUS P4T533-C Manual is not complete. I can not find the wiring diagram that shows the connections on the front panel blocks on my mobo. I need to find where to connect the following case wires to my mobo. Power switch, Reset switch, HDD Led & Power LED.

any manual will be at SONY, this mobo is a contract made.

What was your original MOBO? It should help you identify the connections to your chassis/front panel.

Typically you will have USB, audio, ground, power supply and switching/reset lines.

Often the connectors are not compatible and you need to improvise.

The header bus above is for the USB Front Panel interface:


This is included in many of the various flavors of the MoBo. If you're looking to use the MoBo connector to supply something other than this Front Panel interface, you're going to need to obtain the pinout of the jack on the motherboard and compare it to the signals required by your USB 3.0 device. The one from Asus is simply gathers the wires and forms them in a single shell - then keys the shell to prevent reverse insertion.

Think of what you have to do as the way USB 2.0 headers are provided on MoBo and the way PC cases have USB jacks built in. The USB header isn't standard; some have 9 pins - some even have 10! They can't seem to get on the same page as to how many pins are needed. The location of the signals on the header are probably different from brand to brand, too. So, the case manufacturers break up all the individual wires and label the signal so that YOU can check the MoBo manual and plug each one in to the correct pin.

I may be confused with your problem you posted mar13974.
I thought Jumper J9H3 was for the Front Chassis Fan.
By your post, it leads me to believe you want the pin assignments for the Front Panel header on the mobo.

At any rate let's go to Intel Product Support, and the download page for the motherboard manual, for the Intel D865GVHZ desktop mobo,

Page 33 shows the location of the Front Panel header on the motherboard.

Page 36 shows the Front Chassis Fan header location (Chassis front fan)
3-pin header, doesn't state the pin assignments.
With a 3-wire fan cable,
A) 1 wire is the Power wire. Generally Red
B) 1 wire is the Ground wire. Generally Black
C) 1 wire is the speed sensor wire. Reads how fast the fan is spinning in Revolutions Per Minute
(RPM) Generally Blue, but it's up to the individual manufacturer.

Download a copy of the PDF file to file for reference.  I checked this manual and it has all the information you need, but you will have to quietly study it, and then print or  take down all the required information you need on paper, as you will have to turn off tthe PC and power to make all the wiring connections to the motherboard. The Front Panel Audio connection should have a couple of wires to plug in into your MotherBoard. Usually, the connectors are named and all you need to know is the exact location in your MotherBoard.
I would suggest you to visit your MotherBoard manufacturer and download the manual for your MoBo. You will find in the manual a diagram of the MotherBoard which shows the location for those wires.
