I have a epson TM-T8III printer of a POS windows 7 printing slow.

Go to Control Panel - Device Manager & find your Printer i.e. little arrow by the Imaging devices. Right click the T88 & click upgrade drivers, then clik the upper choice & it will go to Microsoft & find the correct driver for that unit & install it. (must be on line) That should solve your problem If not call Epson

Are you using a third party USB adapter or a USB interface? On the self test page that you printed does it say USB connection or something that will say about USB? or does it say parallel or serial connection? try to check the dip switches setting if its configured properly. visit epsonexperts.com site for more info.

window is not the faulty one if you are using a third party software of sent print option from internet then problem must be with in drivers..... print a self test page if ok then print test page from system (control Panel) if both point ok then there must be problem in online software/ERP.

The solution:
Link www.epson-pos.com and register, after that, follow this path:
Thermal line printers
Choose your model
Epson Advanced Printer Driver for TM Series (the first option for Windows7)
Install it, it Works properly.

download the drivers and select the com port where it is installed or active.

Make sure you go into properties of printer and enable draft mode..or best dependant on your needs...otherwise install new driver from 'epson downloads' for your printer
