Make sure you don't have any unecessary programs loading up into windows when your laptop boots up. The next time the system randomly reboots check to see if the laptop feels a bit warmer then normal. Could be that your air vents are being blocked by dust. That would cause the air not to flow properly. Take a can of air and blow the vents clear so the air can flow properly and that would take care of the problem.

have you made any changes before the blue screen appear? installing a driver maybe? if you have, try to undone those changes by booting with Startup with last known good configuration (undo recent registry and driver change),use System Restore,or Roll Back device driver,Scan your computer for viruses
and Return BIOS settings to their default levels,go to BIOS by pressing F2 or del exactly after you press the power button and the screen show up
if it still in blue screen, that's probably that some of your system file is missing, and you need to reinstall your operating system

The case is: I shut my laptop " satellite a300 Toshiba" off by the button, and I did not wait it until shut down normally. then, every time I try to turn it on again it starts normally and...

That pointer is there to notify you that no operating system was found - Windows has been completely corrupted when you have shut it down while it was still working. Just reinstall it and all will be back to normal.

I installed the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade (store bought) and now my Acer Aspire 5735 gets blue screens, shuts itself down, and random programs get the "**** has stopped working" message.

you shouldn't of installed it because if you would of ran the windows 7 compatibility thing that is on the disc, it would say that your computer is incompatible. You should buy another copy of windows xp and install that.

Can't reload windows xp. Keeps shutting down???? Acer 2700 Laptop

this happens when you have errors with the hard drive not responding to the new boot or drivers not responding. is this a clean install or a restore? if you are not using the original xp disk the machine came with you may get these errors. the blue screen usually has a message in it. let me know what it says if you get a second.
