Trying to pair a blue tooth headset to a Computer is a mundane task. As far as I know, Windows do not have drivers included in their package. I am trying to find out a suitable driver software from internet, but still not successful.
If you are using an intel wireless card (such as the default wirelesscard coming with Lenovo laptops) you can download an "Intel WirelessConnection Utility" from the following intel download centre atfollowing location. Select appropriate operating system and downloadtype as "Software Applications" to download the connection utility. Install it.
This tool from intel detects the available wifi networks and collectsthe authentication details and automatically connects when the networkdisconnects due to signal dropping.
You can think of changing the desktop/laptop network to "private"instead of "public" to avoid frequent signal dropping. Try to work froma place which is close to the router so tat the wifi signal is strong.
Hardiwre you computer to the router, modem or network If your laptop has a built-in ethernet(LAN) port and click here for the express driver update or you can choose manually the driver for your wireless cardbus adapter
first of all, to check the wireless card on a friends network or a public hotspot, like starbucks. if that internet is slow, then most likely it is your wireless card that is on the fritz. otherwise, if it is fine on these networks there is a compatability issue with your router and your cards. make sure that if your router is very old, it is still compatible with a newer adapter.(e.g. n-wirelesscards maynot work with b-routers. and a-wireless cards will not work with b/g/n routers...or vise-versa.)
IF you already have a wireless router, than any pci wireless card will install in your dell. the instruction pamphlet is simple to follow.
Likewise Any USB wireless adaptor will pplug to any vacant usb port and connect, the instruction pamphlet is simple to follow.
