For LG washers 'LE' stands for Lock Error. There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor. Both require a service engineer's attention I suggest, sorry ;-0(

Hi, LE stands for locked motor error.. 1 . check the connections to the Coil/Stator at the rear of the unit possible broken wire. 2 . Coil/Stator Assembly is defective hence no drive Thank you !!
Empty water from inside the machine and try tripping the circuit breaker for a couple of minutes.
If that does no clear the error , then one of the following faults may have ocurred:
Wiring connection broken either bad connector on pump side or on timer control side, or faulty wiring harness. The hose connected to impeller, or the impeller itself is blocked. Motor or pump locked. Faulty timer board.

error code: This indicates a locked motor condition. Please check the
following conditions.
Large loads of laundry can put a strain on the motor causing the LE
error code. Try removing some clothing and restart.
Excessive suds can cause the LE error code. Make sure the customer is
using an HE (High Efficiency) detergent. They should decrease the
amount of detergent until the machine washes without suds. A few
bubbles can be expected. Areas that have �soft� water will usually need
to use less detergent.
If you suspect that excessive suds are the problem, let the machine
stand for 30 min (motor cool down) and then run a rinse and spin cycle
before restarting the load.
If these directions are followed and the code persists, the machine
will likely need service.

LE error means level error (the d/w fills up but the water drain out at the same time somehow). I had a case once where the drain hose at the back of the d/w was resting on the floor to drain underneath the cust house. problem is like any drain hose it has to GO UP FIRST and then down to the ground otherwise the gravity will push the water out as the d/w fills up hence the LE error.
