Can I find my sid number on my sirius raido if the sticker fell off

It is my understanding that they can get all the channels, but you do have the ability to lock out channels yourself. The SID number purely identifies that particular radio and subscription status.

The Serial Number is on a sticker on the back or side of the radio.

A radio / alarm installer might be able to get the serial number by using a pro grade scan tool computer.

Turn on the radio and put it to channel zero there you will see an alphanumeric characters that is the radio id or visit this link http://www.siriusxm.com/help.

Remove the batteries/power line connecting to the Sirius Radio. Connect it back after 2 minutes. This will refresh the device without loosing any saved settings/informations and will unlock the channels.

Looking at the user manual on page 13, you have to purchase and connect the XMD1000 module to in order to get the satellite radio service. If the module is installed, you'll get a display telling you to sign up for service.

I had attempted to contact Sirius for this answer and they had told me that you cannot retrieve the SID from an OEM installed radio and that it can be obtained from a sticker on the owner's manual.

In my situation my SID was not on my owner's manual, and after they had assured me that it was in fact there and I was not looking hard enough I requested to speak to a manager who had told me that an SID is not required for an OEM installed radio due to the fact that they can look each radio up by VIN as well.

ESN Retrieval:

1) Press and Hold the T (Title/Adj) Button for two seconds.
2) Press the search up/search down button (which are the left/right arrows) until display reads 'SID Disp'
3) Press Cat/Ent button
4) First part of SID will now appear on display
5) Press volume up/volume down button to show second part of number (up/down arrows on unit)
6) Press T (Time/Adj) button to return to normal operation

You can lookup the SID on Sirius.com if the reciever has been activated. Customer service should have the number as well if you know the phone number used during registration.

I had the same problem and there are a couple of reason why you may not be able to get into Sirius Mode.

1. You have the wrong type of antenna (it must be a Sirius approved antenna)
2. You may not have installed the tuner (most Sirius ready units need require that you have a tuner hooked up to your unit to get satellite reception. The tuners are specific to your unit, so make sure you but the correct one. This is quite sneaky on Sirius’ part…but good luck).
