I dont know how to install my camera device - MSI Starcam 370i Webcam

1st You download Webcam Driver.
How to install A4Tech camera
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

to download the Camera Diagnostic Tool and run it to check out your camera and/or problem.

Be sure the camera is plugged into the USB port before running the program.

As you run the program, write down the info about the camera so you will know what model and who manufactured the camera you have
attached so you can get the proper software drivers for it.

to further help you need to know model number of web cam to direct you to right drivers for your cam

Connect the camera to your PC
Even if it fails, open Device Manager
Locate the camera or "unknow device"
go to proprieties
click details
copy Vendor ID number and Device ID number
go here:
PCIDATABASE
do a search with that vendor id and then by device id
you'll find the correct driver OR at least the manufacturer, etc...

Visit the logitech support website, identify your camera and click on it to progress to the downloads
Disconnect your webcam and load software

Hi if your using XP,

Try ROLL BACK DRIVERS or UNINSTALL DRIVERS in device Manager

Uninstall and Reinstall the device,

START>right click MY COMPUTER>PROPERTIES>HARDWARE>DEVICE MANAGER
Let the list build and find the camera in this list.
Select Logitech CAMERA.
Right Click UNINSTALL.
Let the computer remove the device and REBOOT
When the machine restarts it will auto find and reinstall the device
If it doesnt auto install the device then you will need the drivers for the Camera,
These came with the camera on a disk or can be downloaded from the Manufactuers site.
You will need the Name and Model for the camera drivers.

Lastly I dont think GOOGLEs toolbar would have change the Cameras drivers because you would have to give it permission to do this,Unsure if thats very accurate but you can contact GOOGLE.
Try www.google.co.nz and select preferences then Help

Maybe it was your last updates or software install?

Hi

The general install procedure for USB devices is to install the drivers/software first then connect the device. The PC should then detect and initialize the device.

I however recommend you check and follow manufacture's guidance/steps.
