Hello
Before you conclude that its the charging port i think you need to test another compartible charger and see if it works or you could open your phone with a phone screwdriver and dust the charging port and try it if it works. If it doesn't work then you would need to replace the charging port.Temporarily you can use a desktop charger to charge your batterywhile the port is being replace.

How do you fix the charging port on a lg 9900 phone?

You could have a charging port issue, you may need to install a new one into the phone or order a backup battery plus a battery charger, interchange them as needed.

How do you get an envy to charge when it stops charging

The charger port is very easily broken but you can trade it in for a new one or go to your local contract provider and get it easily replaced. Good Luck.

Will not charge. No connection is made with terminals. Charger is OK

are any of the pin bent inside the charging port? if so sometimes they can straightend out is there any fuzz or pocket lint? if so you can blow that out with a can of air, if not its possible the charging port is defective in the device.

My charge port is messed up and wont let me charge

You could locate another specifically for charging the battery in this one, but the best bet is to see your carrier about insurance (physical damage) if you have it or warranty replacement (no physical/liquid damage). Sometimes the manufacturer can offer warranty repair services as well.

My daughter's LG EnV charging port

You can get a charger at factorydirectcellular.com. The link is
http://www.factorydirectcellular.com/home/universal/universal-battery-only-charger.htm

The charger charges the battery independent of the phone. It is the only one I have found and it works GREAT. I had a couple issues at first but the rep, Matt, bent over backwards to resolve them. I would recommend this charger and company to anybody. The charger is a universal charger and will charge other cell phone batteries as well. The only con is that it does take a little longer to charge than using the port.

Env help plz

The reason the phone won't charge is because the internal power port pins are broken off of their solder joints to the main board inside the phone. Wiggling it helps at first because the pins can still touch their connection points but after a short time that will cease to help. Google "cell phone repair". It usually cost around $50 to get it fixed with a new power port installed. Turn-around is usually 2-3 days.

Charger port problem

or google BTC-UNI

iT'S little cheesy but hey for $10 and free shipping I can eat a lot of cheese.

Just plug your battery into this little clugy thing, plug the thing into the wall, wait until battery is charged and then put your battery back into your phone...presto...for this kind of money who cares if the VX9900 has a dead battery charge port.

I bought two, they were on sale for $7 each. It's ugly and takes a bit of patience but it works.
