First, make sure that the velcro closure on your pool cleaners bag is sealed tightly. If the velcro is coming lose, it could be the problem. Next, make sure that your wheels are operating at the proper RPM. Too little RPM could cause the pool cleaner to be sluggish and not create the proper tension to keep the bag floating. It should be between 30 and 36. If it is running at less than 30 RPM, there are few things that you can do to fix it. If an adjustable valve is installed on the cleaner line, open it completely so water can flow freely to the cleaner. Check the filter screen in the in-line filter
for debris that restricts water flow and clean if necessary. Also clean the skimmer, filter, and pump baskets. Check the hoses, connections and swivels for leaks that cause loss of water pressure. Finally, if none of these solutions work, remove the blue restrictor disk from the UFW.
