Did he clean out the dryer and clean out the vent line?dryers need to be cleaned out,gas dryer should be done once a year and electric dryers every two years.we come in,take the dryer apart, clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, blow out and vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is and if the vent line is a long run from the back of dryer to the outside vent i use a leaf blower and blow out the line,if it's clean you won't notice any lint blowing out, alot of the time when the dryer is on and heating up the vent line lint that's built up inside the vent line will blow out if the line hasn't been cleaned out, your dryer will dry the clothes better and you won't burn out any parts if the dryer is clean and not running hotter than normal from a blockage somewhere, and you don't have to worry about a dryer fire, good luck

Why does my A/C blow little to no air, that's not cold, and how do I fix it?

Air Conditioner freeze ups cause an A/C to blow little to no air through the vents, and the air is usually warm.

There are three basic reasons for air conditioner freeze ups:
  1. Insufficient air flow
  2. Low Refrigerant charge
  3. Outdoor temperature
1) The two most common causes of insufficient air flow are dirty filters and under sized ducts. A dirty filter limits air flow which in turn allows the cooling coil’s temperature to drop below freezing. Replacing the filter, monthly, usually alleviates this problem. Under sized ducts will also cause the system to freeze because it also limits the amount of air flowing over the cooling coil. This results in lowering the coil temperature and allowing the humidity in the air to collect on the coil and freeze.

2) Low Refrigerant Charge. The refrigerant system teeters on a delicate balance. If the system is not charged correctly, the system will not function properly. This malfunction may result in the poor cooling output and/or freezing up. Only a qualified, certified service technician can properly test and charge a refrigerant system. Check your small high pressure line (should be hot) and low pressure line (should be cold, but not frozen).

3) Outdoor temperature. If temperatures are too low, the system will not operate properly, and freeze up may occur. The outdoor unit does not function well in temperatures below 60 degrees F. A special “ambient temperature” control must be installed to allow the unit to run properly in cool temperatures, or you may open your windows and save energy. If the A/C is set lower than 70 degrees F, special adapters are required to be installed.

I have a Honeywell thermostat. The thermostat clicks to turn the air condition on but the outdoor unit does not turn on. The fan clicks on though.

I assume you are referring to the indoor fan coming on. If the fan on the outdoor unit is coming on, and the compressor is not, you have a control problem with the outdoor unit, I recommend calling a service man. Make sure you have power to the outdoor unit. There should be a service disconnect on the outdoor unit, connect and disconnect the power, you should hear a hum when the power comes on, put your ear to the housing of the outdoor unit and you will hear the power come on when it is turned on. If no power, or hum, check your breakers in the house electrical panel, see if any are tripped. Next step call a service tech.

It takes two hours or more to dry clothes

Hello tront... begin by clearing the lint from the vent pipe and the outdoor end of the vent pipe. This alone will cause the dryer to take hours to dry the clothes. Joe

Ge dryer is over heating

You may have a lint clog somewhere.
Check the filter, also the outdoor vent door to see if it move freely and warm air coming out.
If not...then check the ducting going from the dryer to the outdoor vent.
If all that is ok then you may have a faulty thermostat in the dryer.

hope this helps you
