Mcdevito75 here, You can try, double check the battery instalation in the watch, If all is good, try to pull out the stem and move the hands as if setting the time, then push stem back in. It"s also possible you have a weak or even dead battery, even though it was bought new.

Hi, I have tissot expert, when I changed the battery, all option work perfect but the screen to activate compass not working and the bip as well, maybe battery not suit the watch ?

It could be that you have purchased the wrong battery for your watch and you should take it to a person that repairs watches and jewelry then to figure out what type of battery that will work in your watch.

Casio CPW-500H-1AV analog watch not working

That certainly wouldn't hurt - be sure you use good new batteries.

2006 bought, stopped working, does it need a battery change? Is it worth changing the battery?

It looks like you paid over $100 for the watch, I suggest to give a try changing the battery. Actually if you take it to some watch repair shop.. some of them will NOT charge you if replacing the battery does not bring your watch back to life!
I hope this helps!

Battery changed now watch not working

It sounds as if there is a detector in the watch that registers when the watch has been opened.

Perhaps there is a method of resetting your watch (perhaps known to recognized dealers?).

Read your instructions carefully to see if you can find anything about battery changing. Most makers don't recommend that you change batteries yourself, so I don't hold out much hope on that one.

Otherwise you will have to take it to a recognised dealer in your type of watch.

Beep and chime will not work

I think there would have been a minute spring coming from the back of the watch module to the backplate of the watch - this spring carried a vibration / beep which echoed off the backplate. Chances are you have damaged this spring during battery change - as i did with my gShock. Basically it's nackered!

I have a Casio DBC-60. I changed the battery because was not working for long time, but the watch stil is not working

This is an old problem, but maybe this will help someone changing a battery on a Casio. Many Casio watches must be "zeroed out" by putting an pointed tweezers between the back of the battery and the AC terminal off to the side of the battery. On my old Casio Telememo 50, the AC terminal is in a very small hole just above the battery. On the Baby G force, it was in a wider opening, way at the edge of the watch. It has something to do with resetting the watches circuitry so it will operate again. Good luck!

My bulova watch isn't working

Even you change a new battery with desame size and volts not working. The problem is in the terminal where going to put the battery. The terminal had a dirt or a film residue that comes out from the battery, you better clean terminal by scratching the old film, the lying down terminal is negative,,the side terminal is positive you better observed polarity if happen inter change the battery side it will not works. If not working, even you clean already terminal, short the terminal connection for 3 seconds,If you have a flourescent with a ballast, put your watch lying where there is strong vibration for five minutes, your watch works 100% txt me whatever the result so i know it's ok.

Which watch battery do I use?

There are lots of different size button batteries for watches. I work in a clock shop where we change batteries in watches and I have had people bring the watches into me without batteries and it is really a guessing game. A lot of watches take a #377 battery. You can try that or take it to a place that changes watch batteries and let them figure it out.

Casio 2688 Wave Ceptor - No Display

On the solar charge watches, they use a chargeable Lithium battery. It is NOT an off the shelf regular battery! It is best to send the watch to the factory service rep in your area for a battery change.

In many of these models the battery is using solder contacts to the circuit board. The person changing the battery will require the original spec battery, and be equiped to do surface type soldering.

When working on this watch, the factory service will change the seals and do a pressure water resistance test. The regular corner watch service store is not equiped to do this type of testing.

Normaly, the battery in solar watches should last more than 5 years. Some are going past 10 years!
