This may well be a fault with your RAM, CPU or system board. Check the RAM is inserted properly, if two modules are installed try removing them one at a time and see if it helps.
Hope this helps, www.PuterCare.com

VOSTRO 1320 doesn't turn on

That would leave the processor ic, usually most motherboards do not include that.

My VGC-LT23E makes one log bip followed by 2 bips when I turn the PC on and nothing gets displayed on the screen. I can hear the hard drive but nothing gets displayed?

This would indicate a video display card problem. Since the VGC-LT23E is an integrated system; this could be difficult to track down without professional intervention.

When I try to switch it on you can hear the processor go on but nothing happens, the screen stays black and then a very loud bip.....bip...bip occurs; and then..nothing else

  1. Check your power cord & adapter.
  2. If its working then check the battery, reseat the battery & check.
  3. If available then check with another battery
  4. If no, then remove the battery & switch on the PC in AC mode.
  5. Check if battery charging indication or AC power on indication is glowing. if not then need to change ur motherboard.
  6. If indication is OK, but could not power ON then check ur RAM for any loose connection or dust. clean & reinstall.

Power On, Fans start but stop in few seconds and that's all

May be there is a problem in the windows, but suppose it is not booting at all.

First Check once more your boot options from bios menu
Second If it still the same thing, extract your battery out of your laptop for 12 min, then try to power up your laptop pluging in your power cable(don't use your battery)
Third If it still not working, there must be a problem in your cooling fan, so check it, also check your motherboard & your graphics card (Most of this problems happens due to a problem in the computer cooling system in motherboard & graphics card)

Hope it works for you Christos

My screen goes off for few seconds when I´m playing

Maybe your graphics card is overheating, check the cooling fan over your graphics card and if it has sufficient power plugged into it.

Ok.. MY PROBLEM IS THAT I TURN ON MY PS3 AND IT MAKES THE SOUND BIP..THEN WITH NO VIDEO ON THE TV OR SOUNFD COMING ITS DOES 2 BIPS AND IT TURN OFF AGAIN,,I HAVE TRY TO LEAVE IT ON A COUPLE OF...

lets try a few things bronx,

lets start by going over the beeps and lights. when you power the unit on. it should go Blue and stay blue. this means the unit is so far functioning correctly.

if your unit turns on lights up blue, then yellow , then red and stays red you have an issue

if you are experiencing the first scenario, press the power button till it goes red. which is standby mode.
then press button again till you hear two beeps, let go. make sure you have all your cables plugged in. this will send you to the diagnostic screen on the ps3 to select anyone of your options. since you are not getting a video display select the display settings and reset yours according to your type tv. if you are using a standard old school tellie, then its 480i, if you are on a plasma or lcd it would be 720p,1080i or 1080p. then you should be good from there

okay, if you are experiencing the second scenario its a much more severe issue. the GPU on the motherboard has gone bad, which is common on ps3s. if it is under warranty contact sony and they will send you out a refurb'd unit. if it is not under warranty there are a few good companies out on ebay that reflow or reball gpu chips on ps3s to repair this known issue.

since you are getting beeps and lights this is one of your scenarios. if you get no lights,no beeps then you got a bad Power Supply.

Good Luck!
