Pen drive not working

My transcend pen drive is not working and the problem is when some data is tried to store in it is shows that it is write protected and if i try to fromat also same thing happens ...plz help me to sort out the problem

LLFTOOL is a utility for low-level disk drive formatting,
also supports formatting of FLASH cards using a card-reader.

1. Download this tool:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4040651/LLFTOOL.EXE

2. Format pen drive

(WARNING: After running this low level format tool,
the whole USB flash disk surface will be fully erased.
Therefore, data restoration will be impossible after using this utility!)

So you know the little errors you get when not removing your drive safely? That is most likely the problem. Removing them non-safely can damage them and cause data lost. You may need to get a new drive.

No, problem
Just copy the whole data of pen drive to PC. Now format the pen drive
and paste the data from PC to pen drive again. It will work fine then
