SOURCE: Samsung Plasma 42" TV - 2006

Hi, this is quite a common problem for plasma screens and LCD screens. The fluroscent backlight is more than likely faulty and would need replacing. The best thing to do is to take it to a service centre because there are no user servicable parts inside the plasma.

SOURCE: displays weak or no signal

To get any HDTV to work this is what you have to do;
CHANNEL section
1) Connect your antenna cable which you have done.
2) Go into the menu to the source option and select AIR/ANTENNA since you are using an antenna.
3) In the menu you will have to SCAN in the stations. This auto program will find all available stations.
Now you can watch tv by selecting the station you want.
The new generation of HDTV is different from the old analog sets. These have to be set up to work.
Exact information can be found in your Users Manual.

SOURCE: samsung plasma 42 inchs with sound no picture

Most likely your Y Sustain panel has gone bad. I would have a qualified service center evaluate it to be sure.

SOURCE: Can I replace a broken Samsung 42" plasma

No, you cant. I have 2 tvs just like yours but the LN model is newer than the SP model tv. I have the same problem, my LN tv has a cracked screen and the other SP model is good

Will not tune in channels on auto store

Well, there's your answer then. You have poor aerial signal so the TV cannot lock on when tuning. You need to sort out the reason why there's "Poor or No Signal" You need to fix the aerial, not the TV. I would have thought that was self-evident, surely?

What kind of aerial are you using. Do you know it works? Check out the aerial cables for breaks or badly fitted connector plugs.

Hi, ihave a plasma TV, sometime ago and it has only been since we moved houses, our TV goes pixelated and then we get No signal on 1-2 channels, and now we have no signal full stop, i have a booster...

You have antenna issues. Try raising the antenna some more or relocating to another spot where the signal strength is greater. Pixelation is a sign of a weak signal -

Can't get my samsung hp-t4254 42" plasma tv to

make shure that the computer is set up to display on the screen. To check and see right click on your desktop, click on the option that says screen resolution, and then change your settings from their. The tv will not register that you have a computer plugged into it if the computer is not sending the tv a signal.

Problems with signal on some channels on tv

Hi
This really require clarification. If you have a weak signal and you're on cable then you need to get your cable company to boost their signal. If you're on an antenna then you need and antenna rotor to turn the antenna towards the station you're watching. You might also need a booster here if the channels are too weak. Good luck

I have a Samsung SP-S4223 42in. EDTV.

This is called tiling and this happends because of a weak signal from whatever device you have hooked to it weather it be cable or a sat dish. Try checking and makie sure you have good signal to this. If this matter gets wrose then you would need a repairman. Thanks

No Signal sign

Hello Dollyer,
The first thing i need to know is how the TV is hook up. Do you have it hook up to HDMI, component, or just regular composite (Yellow, Red and White cables). This is very important info for me. What about your DVD player, do you still get a picture from that source. Please let me know

Best Regards
