To flash(format) you need *USB cable compatible with your handset *A Computer *PC suite of your handset *Internet connection(Min speed 1Mbps)

To flash(format) *Install the PC suite *Connect to USB *Open the PC suit *Select UPDATE PHONE SOFTWARE(dowload the Nokia Software updater by selecting this option) *Install the "NOKIA Software Updater" *Select Update**....(It takes 10-30 Mins)
**Please don't disconnect while updation process

just go to the link that i have provided here and download the PC suite software for your phone model.
install that software in your system.
connect the mobile to the PC using data cable.
when connecting the phone will ask the connectivity option.there you need to choose PC suite.
open the PC SUITE.there you will find the install application in your phone option.
you select that option and install the software application in your phone.

you need to update your phone software as soon as possible . to update it yourself :

1) you need to have high speed internet.

2)data cable

3)nokia software updater.

if you have all these just start nokia software updater while your phone is connected and your pc is connected to internet. the phone will restart itself several times while updating . wait for 1 hour and your phone will be updated and everything will work fine.

if you dont have any of these ..... simply go to nearest nokia care and get it updated.

i don't think that this phone supports softwares or third party softwares for installation.. it come with pre installed software....

if you are able to install softwares you can install any one .... F secure is a good one
