You could have a broken gear inside the top of the motor. take the cover apart and you will see 3 plastic gears. one on the motor shaft, one on the indicator and one in between. check all gears are ok.

On my standard motorguide trolling motor the direction indicator points one way my motor goes the opposite direction. How do I fix this?

put the motor in the water and ensure that the propeller is at the rear. On the head of the unit (where the direction indicator is) push down and turn the round plastic plate (this plate has the direction indicator on it) clockwise until the direction indicator mark (mine is blue and is about one inch long) is in line with the alignment bar on the non-moveable part on the head. You will hear several "clicks" and this means that the indicator plate is clicking around to the proper directional alignment with the motor in the water.

Direction arrow does not work can it be replaced?

Maybe easily fixed... Take the head apart...just 3 or 4 screws up from the bottom. The direction arrow is "driven by a plastic gear that may have a "C" type ring holding the arrow and the gear together. The arrow sits on top of the gear like a car radio knob sits on its control shaft...with knurled splines. If either one is stripped or broken you'll have to purchase a new head housing...around $50-$60. Good Luck and God Bless

93 Sierra - Cabin Heater Lights Flashing - Is that a warning?

Well this will tell you that the door that directs the air flow in not moving fully into position.Either the motor that moves the door is not working correctly or there is something obstructing the door.We had mice build a nest in the air ducts and would only do heat any other selection would make the arrow flash until we cleaned it out.Well hope this helped.

I have a motorguide trolling motor and the front

With the top off take the six screws out and lift the cable and gear out. Next put your foot pedal at mid position. Then make sure the motor is pointed forward and reinstall the slider gear and the six screws. Last put the top on and make sure the arrow indicator is pointing forward and thats it.

Red arrow poiting down

If I'm right, and this vehicle is a stick, this model has shift indicator lights. Green arrow points up when its time to shift up, and red arrow points down when you need to downshift. If it does, the tach, which registers the motor rpm's, which controlls the lights, is malfunctioning.

Motor humms but door doesn't go up or down!

5 flashes is the code for "RPM sensor board or motor overload." If your door is stuck in the open position the trolley may be jammed against a bolt just in front of the motor unit. Remove the bolt and run the opener until the door is closed. Now locate the 'up limit' control on the side of the motor unit and turn it a couple turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Be sure to replace the bolt.

Error 45 on Precor EFX 546 Elliptical

Precor Error 45, Lift Moving in Wrong Direction Probable Cause 1. Lift motor hysteresis.
2. Lower PCA is bad.
Corrective Action 1. The error would usually occur when the lift was already in motion (usually downward) when a lift command in the opposite direction (upward) was made. Some lift motors used in production exhibited a very long turnaround time and the lift motor would still be moving in the original commanded direction while the control system was trying to move the lift in the opposite commanded direction. If the error continues to re-occur, replace the lift motor.
2. It is a rare condition, however if the lift moves in the opposite direction commanded, replace the lower PCA.
