If you are having a hard time using the Adobe Acrobat, you can try an easier program which is the LightPDF. This program doesn't need any installation or software download. Try this program here:

For professional editing you can use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is so far the best. But if its price is way too high for you then programs like Preview for Mac and ApowerPDF for Windows can provide a great help.

Converting PDF to other format usually damages the original formatting, the best way to edit PDFs is PDF editor. I'll recommend this PDF Editor, it works like a word processor, you can edit text, images, change the font size, style etc. Besides, you can annotate PDFs, join PDFs into one, or edit the scanned PDF with OCR technology. It's much cheaper than Acrobat and even better.

SOURCE: To edit pdf files..

First method is to use Adobe Acrobat which is the most powerful PDF creator, but it is much expensive for individuals.

The other one is to use some PDF converter tools such as Nemo free PDF to word which could convert PDF format into editable file format for editing purpose.

Unable to convert into a Word document. It just opens a blank document. What is wrong?

The easiest way to convert a word document to .pdf is to simply right-click on the file to see if there is an option to "convert to .pdf"., then left-click on that option.

Hope this helps. :)

How do you erase text from a pdf file?

Hi,
Chances are you're using Acrobat Reader to read the PDF (portable document format) file.
You need Acrobat "Writer" (aka Distiller) to actually make changes to a PDF file, as the reader can only read the image file itself.

I want to edit docs in version 8, when save the pdf as text opens in notepad and formatting is trashed is there any way we can set that to open in word with formatting intact

You will lose a lot of document format if you open a pdf file in word. I suggest that you use an appropriate pdf editor, like Adobe Acrobat full. It has all the features that you need to edit, create pdf files, also export doc files to pdf
