There are two or three ways;

The easiest is to email it to yourself from the computer and collect it on the phone.

Or connect the phone to the computer with a USB charging lead and in Windows Explorer, you should see the storage location of images on the phone.

and there are apps that you can put on the phone and the computer and transfer the image via Bluetooth.

If your phone running android and your laptop supports wifi then install Shareit apps on the phone from the play store. And install Shareit PC Client on your laptop. then turn on Shareit on your phone & laptop. As your are trying to send a photo to laptop, in shareit go to receive mode in laptop and send mode in phone then just select the photo in the laptop and send it to laptop. Thanks.

If your photos were copied to a cloud service, you may see them show up. Deleted photos need to be cleared from external storage services also, otherwise they may just keep coming back.

If they were not store on anything than the phone itself, then they should not come back, as long as you do not have them stored in multiple places (i.e. download folder and a photo application.) You need to look at where the computer is downloading the photos from.

The easiest method is to plug your phone in to your laptop via USB. You can view the contents of your phone easily on our laptop and transfer whichever photos you want to directly to your laptop. Otherwise use Kies or Airdroid to transfer them.

Try to download the phone driver and install it manually. It will work fine

it no need a pc suite to transfer files
just connect your phone to computer using a provided cable data from your phone
go to setting menu on your phone
go to pc connection
pick mass storage
just ignore the message of found new hardware in your laptop

connect your phone to your laptop in mass storage mode then you will be able to download photo from phone memory to your laptop you don't need any software for this
if this not work then install pc suite of your supporting model and connect it in pc suite mode you will be able to access your photos of cell from your laptop

At the top of your phone display you will see a USB icon. Click on the top of the screen and mount the memory card. Your computer will recognize your memory card as a disk drive.

Click on my computer and select the letter for the memory card. Look for the photo folder.
