Kenmore series 600 dryer displaying PF code tries to start but doesnt then kick completely off

PF is power failure error meaning electricity has been interrupted to the machine. An electrical interruption of any type can cause a PF error code. Try this: Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the PF in the display.

My Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher has the code "PF" flashing and door latch is not working. Any suggestions.

PF code on Frigidaire dishwasher
Since the PF indicates a power failure, it has most likely lost electrical connection before the control board and this is the most likely place for this to occur. Frigidaire dishwasher (PLD4375RFC0) seems to complete wash cycle but often has power failure (PF) code during the dry cycle.

the latch must be fixed for it to work a broken latch will cause this problem Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher has the code PF Google Search

also we need to know what model it is to recommend a part

Start for just 1/3 second then stop with error PF ?

Hey Andy, thank you for your post!
From what you have described your Frigidaire dryer, GLEQ2152ES, is running for a few seconds and then displaying an error code of "PF". The error code of "PF" means there is a power failure and this could be an issue within your control panel or power source. I would suggest performing a reset, this could help clear our any miscommunications within the panel, and you can do this by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. I hope that this information is helpful towards your repair. -Matt

What is wrong if my Frigidaire front load dryer

Thank you for your inquiry, friend!

I understand that your Frigidaire dryer has been providing you with an error code "PF". Typically "PF" stands for power failure this can happen if power is shut off during a cycle or the dryer receives insufficient power, which could be an issue with your power cord or control panel. Let's perform a reset on your dryer and you can do this by unplugging the power cord for ten minutes. If you need any additional assistance please feel free to reconnect. -Matt

Kenmore Elite Oasis Electric Dryer - no power (PF code)

Press and hold the "Start" button to restart the dryer cycle if the "PF" (power failure) error code appears. This code often appears when a cycle is interrupted before it completes. You may also check the breaker or household fuse, and ensure the machine has not come unplugged.

Frigidair galaxy electric dryer comes on for a few seconds and shuts right back off error code reads PF

PF means Power Failure, try unplugging the unit for 20 minutes to possibly clear the computer control inside the unit, then try starting it again,if this doesnt help try unplugging and replugging in all connections in case theres a bad connection, lastly if this doesnt solve it,replace the control board
