Hello i have a ge 28118 series slim dect

Hello i have a ge 28118 series slim dect multi-handset speakerphone answering system cordless phone. (red) I need a replacement battery. The battery inside the handset contains the following information: thomson Inc. 5-2762 mcnair rechargeable Li-ion battery 3.7 volt 450mAh LP043041 Made in China 0708 Where can I find this battery? I've looked in Best Buy Staples and a few other places and none of these places had this battery. thanks francesca

My phone is making a lot of noise and static on in coming call so bad I can't talk. out going I can't make. I put in the number to dial call does not go through ,but I can hear the dial tone. do I need a new battery or is there something wrong with the phone itself.

Your GE phone doesn't have an accessory handset. Unfortunately you cannot replace it with just one handset. If the phone is within warranty, kindly return it to the manufacturer and have it replaced.

Phone turn off when speaker is turn on and it disconnect when it turns off

If it is the handset speakerphone, this usually means the battery is dying. The speakerphone uses more power than the regular phone, so when you turn on the speakerphone with a weak battery the handset will shut off and disconnect the call. You likely need a new battery.

the minute, hour and day buttons are located on the side of the base. hold button down till the correct minute is spoken, then the hour, then the day. if you miss, start over again...
