Trying to transfer photos to computor, hit transfer and it comes up Failed to initialize pluto. Don't know what to do.

You didn't say what software you are using, but there are better ways to download your photos. The best way is to connect your SD flash memory card to the computer. If your computer has a SD card slot you are in luck. If not, you can buy a USB SD reader for under $20 on line or in any computer store.

To use it, remove the SD card from your camera and insert it in the reader. Your computer will automatically recognize the SD card as an external memory device; exactly as it does with an external hard drive. You can then open the SD card and access the folder with your pictures. All you need to do is copy and paste your photos from the SD card to a new folder on your computer. It's that simple. Almost all professional photographers use this method and do not transfer pictures from the camera with the SD card in the camera.

I can't seem to get the software to load on the computor, from my C195 Kodak camera I switch the camera on then plug the lead into the usb port & then to my Kodak C195 port all I get on the computor...

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

How do i transfer pics from my camera 2 my computor it says on my camera 2 refer to the extended users guide but cant find it

Can't you copy your pics via Windows Explorer? When we plug camera to PC, the PC usually will recognized it as Removable Disc folder. If the folder doesn't appear, just put off the memory card, and copy your pictures via card reader.

Hope this help and be kind to rate my answer please.

TRANSFERRING VIDEO FOOTAGE TO COMPUTER

Hello,
you can access via USB only SD card on your camcoder.
The only way to transfer from the tape is via Firewire (IEE 1394) . You should have this port on your PC or laptop, if not you can buy external firewire card .

Need instructions to transferr pictures from camera to computor for S630 Samsung Digital

Download Picasa from google, its free and really simple, you plug in the camera, it recognizes the camera and asks you if you want to transfer the pics to the PC, even if you want to erase the card afterwords. It has editing features and folder management. I use this exclusively over all the OEM programs I have 99% of the time.
