How can I retrieve messages accidentally deleted?

How can I retrieve messages accidentally deleted from a AT&T 1725 digital answering machine? I tried to delete only one message and all messages in that mailbox were deleted!

    The manual explains the message deleting process so I understand the mistake made, but the manual does not address how to or whether one can retrieve deleted messages.

yes but it would cost you several hundred dollars if not a thousand plus.

Deleting Messages
1 Connect with the answering
system.
2 To delete selected message — Press
and release 3 while the message is
playing.
To delete all messages in a
mailbox — After you have listened to
all messages and heard the two beeps,
press 3, and then the mailbox
number.

I have the same machine. There is no way to retreive it. You may be able to pay someone a lot of money to some how extract it off the chip but it would have to be a really important message and even then I do not know for sure if it is possible.
