If you see a battery icon, your phone is powered off and is charging. You can restart right away. If you see a red light, your battery is fully discharged. If the red light is flashing, there isn't enough power to turn on. Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes before restarting. If you don't see a battery icon or red light after you plug in your phone, the issue could be with your screen.
Hi, Ephraim. The flashing red light indicates that the device is showing "low battery". It could be that the LG phone charger fits the charging port on your bluetooth headset but it is not compatible with your device. In order for you to know that it is charging, the device should show a steady red light(means charging).
Please take a look at the table reference below.

I think you have damaged your charging pin in the phone by mistake either by dropping the phone or while taking the cord out or inserting. I think the best way to get this fixed will be to go show it to the store that you bought it from/microsoft store. Hope this helps. All the best.
Dr Know, doesn't know what he's talking about. I have a LG KF750 and have experienced the same problem.
Solution - Really jam the cable into the socket! The connection is pretty rubbish. The phone charging icon will (with some force and wiggling) appear on screen. Then carefully put it down and don't touch it!
USB charges very slowly, if charging from a dead flat battery it may take a good 20mins of charging to boot up.
P.S. the red camera light is not supposed to come on when charging. Keep wiggling the cable and the light will go off when the phone charging icon appears.
I am afraid that your battery has malfunctioned. You will need to buy a new one. But before buying a new battery try leaving the battery out of the phone overnight, then try chargnig again.
If theres no problem with your phone charging on its original battery before you replace it. the problem lies with the new battery you purchase, just replace it, coz some batteries are due to factory defects.
This is pretty common and not necessarily a problem. Red means that the battery is not completely charged. Since it was charging all night, it most likely almost fully charged - say 99% or so. It's not really an issue as long as your battery icon has all the bars and the phone holds the charge for a normal amount of time. If you find that the charge lasts for less time than it should, you should probably replace the battery. My phone, for example, does this every so often and then will charge normally the next day.
i have noticed that the mini plug for the charger and usb connection on RAZR V3 is sometimes sloppy. when the phone is charging it will definitely say battery charging on the external display and also flash the battery icon. i also noticed that the plug for the wall outlet is touchy. make sure the plug is secure in the wall outlet make sure the mini plug is secure in the phone gently wiggle these connections if you have to till you get the battery charging message if there are any connection problems there will be a unable to charge message instead.
