Got and RCA Scenium CRT HDTV (D52W135D) which seems to have a convergence problem, green shadow over picture. DVD picture is very dim also

convergence issue. Press menu and then scroll down to the setup option enter setup and scroll to Autoconvergence and activate the auto convergence feature that will realign the convergence . If that doesnt correct the issue you will need a Convergence power board, If the auto convergence feature is missing from the setup menu then you need the convergence option missing repair kit. the part is called the convergence ic. replace those ics.

RCA Scenium HDTV (Model #: D52W135D)(Chasis # ATC221) WILL NOT TURN ON!! When plugged in after a while of being unplugged the front power light will flash green lights first once...then 9 more times. I can hear the static in the back but nothing will turn on. It really sucks becuase we were just watch yesterday, turned it off after a while of it being on(I don't know if that matters) then the next day in the morning I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on... :Z PLEASE HELP!!

The tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadow pictures or 3D pictures look alike?The tv convergence board have dead 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.These parts on the tv convergence board,must be replaced to solved the tv pictures convergence problems.The shop,will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.

Vertcal deflection is the usual cause of that. Replace the deflection board. You can get a replacement deflection board from www.tvrepairworld.com

have scenium d52w135d combo burnt power resistor in deflection board,do i need to replace the the whole board? or just the resistor,and where can i find this resistor?

turn tv of by power point for 1 hour then switch back on that resets the picture if still happens may need a service

Check the Fly Back Transformer. be careful when trying to fix TVs. they retain electric currents even if you have disconnected them.

if you have some thin lines on the top of the picture probably you have a problem on the power supply for the convergence
