HI,

what makes your don't hear anyone is because, the earpiece located at the top of the phone where you can hear some one from if bad and is needs to be replaced the earpiece for people to hear you when calling.

When you replace the earpiece he can hear people when they call.

Take care.

When on the phone on my i580 i can only hear out of speakerphone and not the earpiece. how can i fix this problem?

Same problem with 2 of my phones! Its either the earpiece that is broken or it needs a new flex cable. These are not very hard to fix. You buy the parts on ebay for less than $10 and you can do it yourself. There are videos on youtube of how to take apart an i580. Hope this helps!

Can't hear anything when i make or receive a call unless i use the speaker option

Your AK mobile brand Motorola has an ear piece problem.

Means the speaker in your phone used for hearing someone when they call is damaged, and it needs to be replace.

So take it to your nearest repairer to remove the damaged earpiece and fix another for you.take care.

My ear piece will not work?? did but won't now. all volume are up and the speaker works fine, but the ear piece won't

There are two things involved, Its either the earpiece is bad or the problem is from the phone board. I have seen cases like this.

Maybe you should try changing the earpiece first and let's see what happens.

You might just get use earphone to save you the stress for the main time

take care

Cant hear incoming voices unless i put it on speaker. Can hear rings and all phone bells and whistles though. just not earpiece volume for incoming calls unless on speaker

this sounds like a broken earpiece speaker you might be able to find a replacement one on-line and replace it or if its still under warranty send it back in and get it replaced

Cant hear outta phone unless on speaker phone

If the problem is intermittent, and is affecting multiple components we are talking about a damaged ribbon cable. This cable feeds information from the main board to the board in the flip top. if damaged, you may see these symptoms or more; flickering screen, scratching or no sound from earpiece, screen blacks out, and all the symptoms may fluctuate when the phone is opened or shut. The only reason your speaker phone still works is its placement on the device. Here is a link to a public site that ranked it the top google results.

pls rate this post as fixya and good luck!!!!!!

My motorola v3 razr cell has no sound thru earpiece cannot hear unless you turn on loud speaker help please

That means your earpiece speaker is out. It could either be damaged or just dirty. The easiest way is to file an insurance claim. But if you are good with electronics you can take it apart and replace the speaker. However on some of the V3 models the earpiece speaker is a part of the LCD and cannot be individually replaced.
