Once installed (you will have to reboot too), you will be able to go to Mouse properties, and click on or off the UltraNav functions you don't like. STP
laptops have an FN function key try pressing on FN then press F8 at the same time or if you have a lenovo and it is a g530 upper right hand corner above the keyboard you should see speakr icons and on the roght last Icone that lookslike a box is for your touhpad, press t once if the light on your touchpad turns off then it will already be enable or turned ON but if the light between the touchpad buttons is lit then it means it is turned off,
the FN+f8 is for a lenovo only for other laptops I really am not sure but if you look clsely to the FN bottons on your keyboard they will have little picture showing what they can enable or disable by click FN + whatever botton for a touchpad it will be a box with a slash on it thus enabling anf disabling your touchpad.
Hi. I think you should press and hold the Function(Fn) key then press F8 key on your keyboard to disable or enable your touchpad. If this doesnt work I think you should download first the drivers for your touchpad and then you can proceed with the steps i mentioned. Also you could disable it by accesing the device manager on your laptop then disable your touchpad. You could also do it by going to the control panel and its under the mouse settings, then from ther you can disable it.
You need to look for the key along the top edge of the keyboard (function keys) that has small blue images of the touchpad and trackpoint. On my T400s, it is F8.
If you hold down your function (FN) key down on the lower left of the keyboard and press the ultranav (F8?) key, you should see your UltraNav device settings popup come on screen and let you select either the trackpoint by itself, the touchpad by itself, or both.
