The order is mixer, equalizer and amp. The output of the mixer connects to the input of the equalizer and the output of the equalizer connects to the input of the amp. The equalizer has three types of input and output connections. They are XLR, 1/4 inch and screw terminals. The mixer will have one or two of the three. Choose XLR if possible on the mixer, choose line level output on the mixer if possible. A XLR male to female cable is needed for the connection. The equalizer has two channels, if the mixer has two output channels the two output channels of the mixer can connect directly to the two input channels of the equalizer. If the amp has two input channels, the two output channels of the equalizer can connect directly to the two input channels of the amp. If the mixer only has one output channel then only one channel of the equalizer can be used and one channel of the amp likewise. A XLR male to female connection cable can be used to connect the equalizer to the amp.

I have an IBANEZ AEG10E with an Ibanez SST Fishman pickup. The problem is the lower three strings are not as loud as the Higher three strings when connected to an amp or mixer.

Assuming you have the bass eq turned up, the problem will be in the pickup rather than the preamp . It's easiest to just replace it.

How do I hook an EQ to my yamaha m65 amp?

your eq should either come between the outputs of your mixer and the inputs of your amp, or you can connect your source (guitar, keyboard, microphone) into the eq and out into either a mixer or straight to the amp

Wirings connections from mixer to equalizer to crossover to power amp to speaker

The connections can be accomplished in 2 ways: Direct or using insert cables. The most common way is directly as follows:

Mixer L/R ===> EQ Input L/R ==> Amp Input L/R ==> Speakers L/R

Using insert cables you would have a single 1/4" connector at the mixer end (inserted in to the "insert" L or R) and the other end into the EQ. If you need more details about this method, please post the model of the EQ so I can determine the type of insert cable required.

Hope this helps.

Whan connecting a graphic equilizer to a mixer do i go from my mixer to graphi inputs then from my graphic outputs to my amp

You could do that if you only need to EQ the end result of the mix.

Or if your mixer has an external processor loop you could place the EQ there and use the EQ on the mix first, or on a source within the mix. It would all depend on the mixer's capabilities.

I am keyboard player and i want hook up an equalizer to the system where do i hook it up to

If you're only using the keyboard, connect the keyboard output to the EQ input, and EQ output to your amp.

If you have multiple instruments and a mixer, run mixer output to EQ input, EQ output to amp.

More info, let me know.

Hooking up sound system

The RSQ player goes into the input section of the mixer.
The mixer effect send goes to the Quadraverb input and the output of the Quadraverb goes back to the effect in on the mixer. Now the Main out on the mixer goes to the EQ then the EQ goes to the compressor/limitor to power amp to speakers.

How to connect a sr430qx equalizer to abpm500 gemina mixer and a carvin dcm2000

All of three of these components have balanced connections. There are many different ways to connect- but this is the best option. You will need 4 x standard XLR3(cannon) mic leads. Starting from the Gemini mixer:
take the left output and plug it into channel 1(A) of the DOD EQ
take the right output and plug it into channel 2(B) of the DOD EQ
then...
Connect the EQ output of channel 1(A) to the input 1(A) of your Carvin amplifier
Connect the EQ output of channel 2(B) to the input of 2(B) of your Carvin Amplifier

Connection

There are 2 ways to have an EQ in the system. If the mixer (1204) has inserts for the mains, you can use a set of insert cables to connect the EQ. If not, connect the Output of the mixer to the Input of the EQ and the Output of the EQ to the Input of the Amp.

The insert cables will allow you to electrically connect the EQ as described above only using a single set of cables. These cables are 1/4" balanced or stereo at one end (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) and dual XLR at the other. You will need 2 insert cables, one for right and one for left.

Hope this helps,
dan
