I have just bought the new monitor (samsung syncmaster E1920) for my CPU. However, when connected, it did not work. Only the ON button blue light is blinking.
I tried connecting the new monitor with my laptop and it works fine.
What seem to be the problem? Do I need to buy an adapter? What is that adapter called?
First check your system resolutions on settings of display settings. what is the resolution of screen. and check monitor supported resultion information is there on monitor manual. adjust display resolution if necessary. then connect new monitor.
First you check whether the new monitor displays your system starting screen. mean before booting into windows. some text in black color.
YOU HAVE TO BUTY THE DVI-I ADAPTER,ANALOG
CHECK THIS LINK OUT AND THERE WILL BE A PICTURE OF THAT ADAPTER
ALSO MAKE IT SURE THAT THE TOWER OR THE COMPUTER IS COMPATIBLE TO THIS MONITOR AS TO THE RESOLUTION AND THE ADAPTER OTHERWISE YOU NEED TO BUY A VGA TO DVI CONVERTER..
HAVE A NICE DAY!!!
