Feed Dog I have an Elna 6003 Quilters Dream. The slide lever on the back will lower the Feed Dog but will not lift it back up after I have finished. Can you help?

Normally the feed dogs will come up on their own after the machine turns one complete revolution.

    I am having the same problem with the feed dogs not raising after moving the lever. Even after turning the fly wheel one revolution. Any suggestions?

The feed dog on my Elna 1010 will not lift up when I slide the lever across. We have taken the bottom off and looked underneath and although the bar slides across it does lift the feed dog. What do I do?
Have you actually tried to stitch yet? Turn the flywheel towards you through a stitch sequence and they should reengage as the needle rises.

How do I raise the feeder feet on an elna 6003 quilters dream machine
There is a slide switch on the underside of the back of the free-arm. The feed dogs will not immediately raise when you slide it, the machine must make a full rotation for it to engage.

Elna 6003 just stopped working
Something caught inside the machine and jammed the mechanism. It blew a fuse to protect the circuit board. A competent Elna or Janome Dealer should be able to get you machine going in no time.I don't know of any reason to have trouble finding parts for this machine.
