You can visually widen a walkway by planting a wider section on either side with low-growing plants, and graduating up to taller plants further back from the walk. A walkway that has 12" plants running along the side is going to "feel" narrower than one with low-growing sedum or groundcover stretching 2 feet beck on either side before blending into taller plants, which will feel wider. To search for plants to fit the bill, don't use search words that describe the walkway, but that describe the size of the plants you want. "Ground cover", "low growing", "creeping", for example.

I am no expert with CO2 but i would say that for the amount of plants you have going by the picture vs the amount of fish you shouldnt really need the CO2 at all.
One way to naturally increase CO2 is to run less or no bubbles in the day while the plants are using the CO2 and producing Oxygen and then run bubbles over night to clear out the CO2 the plants produce at night to okeep it safe for the fish.

If this is a serious question, then i shall attempt to answer it. Butterflies help plants by gathering pollen on their bodies and antennae while consuming nectar form a flower (which, incidentally, is how the plant helps the butterfly - by feeding it). The butterfly then flies off to another flower for more food and tranfers the pollen to this plant, enabling pollenization (fertilization) which is how plants produce fruit (which benefits animals like us humans) and create seeds to reproduce. It is win-win-win.

butterflies don't eat anything. Their caterpillars do though. You will have to either spray your plants or find the caterpillars and remove them
