My n95 is having some display light fading problem. i cant see anything. but when i am restarting i can see the nokia symbol very clearly. after that everything fades

This happens when you change the case. If you look at your new case and compare it to your old one you will see a square module just the other side of the mesh microphone area. You have to remove this very carefully from your old case (clear screen) and put it into your new cover!

there was a software problem
you go to the nokia care and do flash your phone
then it can solve automatically

how do i format my n95

I have a N95-3 and have found that the problem seems to be a combination of Loose battery and faulty or flaky headphone jack. I have tried wedging the top right side of the battery with a few thicknesses of 1/4" wide paper between the battery and the battery slot. This seems to push the connectors on the left side a little tighter and reduces the shut down incidences. If the battery is loose just handling the phone and especially pushing the side buttons or squeezing the case will disconnect the battery and shut the phone off. Sometimes the shutdown is immediate and other times the display will slowly fade to black and the phone needs to be restarted. If the battery is really loose the restart button will not give the jolt start feel and you'll be forced to open up the battery case and fiddle to get the battery making better contact.Hope this helps.

take a back up... do normal reset of ur fone...and run any antivirus software in ur fone....transfer ur data thru data cable....
