easycap was not meant to used on windows 7 (i think). but i have uploaded all my easycap drivers for you,.... as always right click exe's and in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 2. if it still not working after driver install go device manager try update drivers from there.
easycap reccomend - ulead video studio for video editing.
the rar file has no passwords. easycap driver and stuff
You're better off getting Dazzle capture cards instead of these efforts.
But the drivers on the EasyCap disk do not work for windows 7 and above. You need to get the newer drivers online to use the device.
From what I can research on the DekCell EasyCap, the requirements for the deice may require USB 2.0, and not be backward compatible with USB 1.1.
Please check your computer to see if you have USB 2.0.
You can check this by clicking on the "Control Panel:, then "System" or "Devie Manager" then look at the list, the last one should be USB, double click on USB and it will tell you if you have USB 2.0.
If not, there are add on cards that can be install if you have a spare PCI slot on your computer to provide 2 or 4 ports of USB 2.0
If you have USB 2.0, and presuming you have XP, if you have Vista or Windows 7, the DekCell EasyCap manufacturer may not have compatible drivers for the unit for Vista or Windows 7.
I have windows vista and my drivers load fine. Plug in the unit and the drivers load. I have the 4 camera easycap and the VCR easycap.
Install drivers first before plugging in the unit. Restart computer, plug in unit, check device manager if there is a stk1150 loaded under image.
My problem is getting small files from the recordings. I converted 2 mins of my daughters dance solo and it turned out 1.7gb AVI file without sound. Changing the options to mpeg or WV files will crash the program becuase something doesn't match. I need to play with it more to understand it better.
