You can get a set of speakers that has a headphone jack on front (it will shut off the speakers when headphones are in) or you can unplug the speakers and plug in the head phones. Some PCs have a red and green jack in front - plug in headphones to the green, you should have the speakers shut off till you unplug. All else fails they make a headphone/mic extender that sits like a hockey puck on the desk, has cables to the mic and speaker jacks on back of the PC and on the puck part has a jack for speakers, mic and headphone - some switched manually by you, some switch when the headphones plug in. If you had posted the model I could see if your machine has front red and green jacks.

How do i use the sound of the monitor CMV CT-723A

Monitors seldom have sound. This one of yours is little known as I am trying to find the specs on it. Sometimes they have an audio socket, but you have to run a cable to powered speakers. The data signal from a computer sound card is not amplified, it is just data.

I have an acer iconia A500 tablet but get no sound coming from the speakers only when headphones are connected how do I get sound back coming from speakers without using headphones

The headphone jack needs to be replaced. Sound gets switched from speakers to headphone there. When the headphone plug is removed from the tablet the connection inside the jack is lost.

We have a Tevion 45967, we want to just play records on it. Do we need to plug it into external speakers

Not directly.
You can:
play it via AUDACITY on your computer, or
amplify it from the line-out RCA sockets*, via your sound-card line in or a separate hi-fi amplifier with equalizer, or
use a headphone-splitter cable and amplify from that to powered speakers.
*The downside of RCA sockets is that your player's internal speakers still work.
Anything plugged into the headphone socket cuts out internal speaker. The headphone splitter allows monitoring via a headphone aaas well.

My phone only works on speaker, even when it have a volume level of seven, it won't work on a regular phone call. Also any icons that use to beep no longer have any sound

Notifications sounds from either external speaker or headphones, but never from the ear piece volume. Your question suggest that the external speaker is damage but it only works on external speaker. Try using a headphone or a bluetooth to make calls, if they work, then you need to fix the external speaker.

I'm using the tv as a monitor for my pc. How come I can't get my headphones for my pc to work when plugged into the back of the tv?

This is because the cable you are using to connect your PC to your TV does not carry a sound signal, only picture. To play sound you will need to connect a pair of external speakers to your PC, or if you want to listen on headphones, connect the headphones to the PC instead of the TV.

How to connect headphones to this tv.

The only way to accomplish this will require an external amplifier.

Connect the program out to the input of the external amp and use the headphones from there. Disconnect the speakers or turn them off in the audio menu.

Hope this helps,

Sound coming from built in speakers instead of head phones

the socket that you are using, I assume headphone socket, has a "switch" inside that cuts off the speakers when you insert the plug. Perhaps this is broken/bent or shorted out.

Sound coming through computer speakers instead of through fast track.

Check your audio settings to make sure that it's going to the right driver. goto: start -> control panel -> sound and audio devices out of the 5 tabs, you'll want to pay attention to 2 of them, these are the "audio" and "voice" tabs. Make sure that your speakers on are the external sound system's drivers and not your internal sound card. (Basically, make your sound playback the same as your sound recording)
