Simply you can do it in two ways, one, using a pdf to word converter and another copy/paste. If there's not much problem with the formatting, you can copy the texts into the word document. This is the easiest and there's no cost in it.

This probably won't help if indeed the file is corrupted. But it will allow you to find out whether it was created in OneNote 2010 because, if so, it should open fine in the web application.

OneNote notebooks seems to get corrupted?
-Exit OneNote.
-Find the corrupt section file via Windows Explorer (probably in Documents-->OneNote Notebooks).
-Make a backup copy of this file just to be safe.
-Shift+right-click the original file and select "Copy as path".
-Click Start and select Run.
-Type onenote.exe /forcerepair, then a space, then Paste the path to the corrupt file.

I assume your problem if with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint Excel, etc) by your reference to OneNote. If you do not have the latest version of Office, you can download a trial of a newer version and use it free for 30 days. It will still open all your existing documents, and you will not lose any of them.

RMB onto your document - Properties - Permissions - Select "Read and Write".

Problem with Onenote 2OO7. Inserting a file as a printout.
Inserting a pdf file into a file won't work because Microsoft files can only read them as an attachment.  There were some licensing squabbles between Microsoft and Adobe which caused this to happen.  You can do it if you can scan them as a tiff file.
