OKI error 310 and 311.... - OKI C3400n Laser Printer

I believe that this is a high-temperature error. so, you might need to move the printer to a cooler room or lower the temperature of the room that the printer is in.

This what OKI U.K. says

(181 = Duplex Unit.
182, 183, 184, 185 = Optional Tray) Does this error recur? Yes Restore the power.
Check to make sure the contact points of the connector and replace the optional unit

all oki errors are fatal errors, there will be a 3 digit number that will tell what the error actualy is

tengo una impresora oki y me muestra error fatal en la pantalla que debo hacer para quitarle ese error de mi impresora

i got that error on the first day i got my oki c5950 it was a result of a paper jam in the fuser unit, i removed the jamed paper but the error was still there, i contacted oki support and got a detailed explanation on how to fix this error with a patch file, so if u or anyone out there r still having that problem send me a mail on [email protected] and i will forward u the info.

We had a similar problem with an Oki C7300. It was reading "Fatal Error 121" on the display.

We fixed it by simply unplugging the printer from a surge strip and plugging it into the wall directly. After that, the error went away and has not come back.

I had a paper jam and removed the jammed papers. The paper jam cleared and then the Fatal Error 980 appeared. OKI C5500 printer

From OKI error list:

Error 172 - Upper Heater Temp State: High
Heat Roller Thermistor indicates high temp

Solution:
Turn off printer, let cool down.
If problem still exists seek service

Error 020 is a ROM dimm error, could be as simple as reseating/replacing Rom Dimm or a expensive main PCB, you need to get hold of a oki dealer, contact oki to find closest OKI repair agent.
