Make sure your rinse wash arms have the end plugs. If one is missing, water will spray out door.
Your fill valve could possibly be malfunctioning, therefore not closing all of the way. I used to work for Hobart. These LX machines can be a pain in the rear. If you have a water softner, then the valve is probably functioning normally. I do not recall it ever being the door gaskets. I would think you should be getting an error code with the wrench. This is a hot water machine. If you have lime scale building up inside, you may try deliming it. The drain valve could be also causing a problem. There are so many things it could be.
ck the vac. brkr. on the back of the unit, if no vac. brkr. ck the air gap on the side of the mach. let me know how you make out.sounds like the leak occurs when mach. goes into the rinse cycle dont forget to vote thanks monomoy
Joe - The main issue is that the builtin booster heater is full of water - it has to be drained - there may be a small drain plug (square-shaped head), if not, you may have to pull loose the heater element to drain the tank. I would pour antifreeze solution in there and also in the wash tank. Unhook the water inlet - you say the machine is hard-plumbed in but mfgr recommends using brauided water hose to connect to water supply. hopefully this helps - I service commercial machines and came across your question and maybe you can ansqwer one of mine - how do I cancel the "delime" indicator? I can't find operators manual. jimmy.
The rinse water in a LX30 is driven by water pressure. A solenoid valve, bottom front - gold body, opens up and allows the water to flow.
If you are referring to the rinse agent pump, there must be NO leaks in the tubing or the hose that runs through the pump. And if the unit has lost its prime, using your hand to "seal" it, and forcing water from the faucet into the line can prime it.
The internal parts of the solenoid valve are bad.if your standing in front of the machine look to the right in the back you will see the water line going to the valve.turn the water off, remove the black coil and set aside, then unscrew the valve with a pair of channelocks or pipe wrench.clean all the parts up and reinstall.if this doesnt do the trick you need to replace those parts.let me know.
