LG Tromm WM2233HW- Problem with oily residue on clothes

Use warm water and powdered detergent. Leave the door open in between cycles and it will be clean as a whistle in a week... Powdered detergent is HE also, don't believe the hype, stop wasting your money on useless chemicals to rinse away the garbage chemical soaps you are being ripped-off by... Hopefully, the liquid detergent hasn't corroded the washtub and drive shaft so badly it is oozing slime!

I have an oily residue in my washer machine and my clothes how do I fix it

If its not from heavily soiled clothes like garage overalls then I would bet the drum bearing seal has gone and bearing grease is contaminating your wash. See if there is any water dripping underneath from the seal and if this seems to fit with your situation then you need a good DIY fixer or appliance engineer to have a look at it.

My GE washer is leaving a brown oily residue inside the drum after washes.

I amj thinking that you use soap powder in your washing machine. If that is the case what you are expericing is the accumulated powder residue under the agitator breaking away and marking the clothes. Re move the agitator and clead all the gunk out of the machine including a water recycling(saver ) hoses. Washing powder is 90% clay that is used to carry the active ingredaient and is never completely flushed in the rinse cycle. Ity also cause a deteriation of the hoses and pumpseal. When you have cleaned out the machine I recommend you only use liquid detergents as they are more effective and don't leave the residue.

Washer maytag front loading 4000 series assembled and runs but iwith two problems.1) residue on inner surface of door window..lint like oily paste ..gasket rubbing on inner drum?? meaning main rubber

The fault seems to be that the main seal is rubbing against and is thus producing the oily residue on the window. Now the fault seems that the drum is rubbing due to POOR ALIGNMENT or poor BEARING settings.
You need to check the PLAY on the drum and if this shakes a bit then the assembly must be reset with correct aligment and the drum must move without rubbing the rubber seals.

Washer depositing oily stains on clothing HELP

Best way is the old fashioned way. Purchase some soda chrystals and pop them in ur drw. The same amount as you would normally use in detergent powder. Then put the washer on the hottest setting and wash the machine out. Do not put any clothes in the washer at the same time though. This will clean the washer it may take a couple of attempts to clean but doing this once a month will keep on top of it.

Hope this helps

My washing machine is ruining our clothes

The oil from the bearings is leaking. Maybe (not sure about this) the bearings are breaking.

This issue requires major repair, so you may need to contact a service technician. If the appliance still under warranty, contact the manufacturer so they can assist you with the repairs.
