I have had this TV for a little over two months. Of course, Best Buy return policy is 30 days return (the problem just started). If I had known it was going to happen after the 30 days I would have replaced it, duh! The $179.99 Extended Plan just covers service, no replacement, unless, of course, after a week or so trying to get an appointment for a "Service" person, then Best Buy may replace it. Meanwhile, I am in Central CA and they claim there is no service representative in the area, another week I am sure. The Geek Squad, ha!! The TV had only a negative image, every so often, color will flicker back and then flick back to the negative images (similar to old Kodak positive/negative film). I cannot understand why they can't replace a bad TV and be done. Instead, the customer must wait for the so called state of the art service team to implement, a week or so, then when they can't fix it, I will then get a replacement? This TV is not 90 days old yet and to jump through the "small print" in an agreement is not good service for the customer, a "too bad" attitude. The TV has negative images, can a service guy fix a integrated circuit board with processors in my living room, no. So give me another TV and let's complete this psuedo service agreement. I could have gotten this service from WalMart, it least they would have replaced it, no questions. Now I, the customer, has hoops to jump through just to get a decent product that lasts more than 90 days. Good job on the spin of "service", where is the Geek Squad now? I don't expect any quick answers, I could probably do this myself if someone could tell me the secret. Oh well, we are stuck, the customers hearing claims of satisfaction, read the promises in the dark. So, I haven't a choice, sit and wait for someone to call, meanwhile, the TV is still screwed up and no, I am not pleased.
T'Con Board fault. Check and replace it. If you wish to get more details visit the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Since this set is still under warranty, DO NOT open it up at all. That will void the warranty. Your best bet is to report the problem and request service. Request that this service be scheduled for a few weeks out and try to see if there is a pattern to when it occurs. For example, does the problem seem to occur most often after the set is on for a while? Any information that you can provide to narrow down the conditions when the problem occurs will be helpful. Please report this as an intermittant problem. Even if nothing is intially found, if the problem becomes more regulatr after the warranty period has expired, it should still be covered.
Keep us posted,
Dan

I just turned my tv off and then back on and it stoped. I read this is happening with all kinds of TVs....

go into menu, look for picture or setup mode. in setup look for chroma/color & tint/tone controls. you should be able to adjust to personal preferences. one other setting, is the color temp setting. this will allow you to change to warmer back wash. hope this helps because the Bravia is a good set
