Machine selects a program fills up with water then does nothing, but still makes usual clicking noises. If drain is selected machine indicates 12 mins as normal starts to drain then shows 1 min and does nothing i.e drum does'nt turn or spin.

This sounds like a bad main control board. Try unplugging it for 10 minutes then replug an try again. If you get the same results replace the main controller.

YOUR ISSUE SEEMS TO INDICATE TO AREAS TO LOOK INTO THE NON WASH OR NO AGITATION USUALLY IS DUE TO A BAD WATER PRESSURE SWITCH, THE NO DRAIN NO SPIN IS USUALLY DUE TO A CLOGGED PUMPED OR IMPEEDED PROPELLER, ARE U SURE U CHECKED IT WELL? THE ONLY OTHER THING COULD BE IS UR CONTROL BOARD IS MIS COMMUNICATING WITH UR DRAIN PUMP?
get your screw driver and lets start.. first unplug the machine from the outlet, you have to access the water level sitch so remove the tab and there is the bandidt, knock him with the screw driver and if this not funcion replace it..good luck
I dont tell you to check the thin hose in the water level sitch becouse you said its fill all right.
