Screen very dark with outlines of reddish hues

Could be the CCD image sensor go to bad; this isn't a job that you could solve yourself; this wrong include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card.

I suggest check THIS LINK for additional details in this previous solutions for an Defective CCD (Charge Coupled Device) and next contact your Camera Service.
I strongly suggest (taking into consideration the age of your camera) to evaluate the cost of repair versus the cost of a new camera with similar features, before making a final desicion.

Good luck.

The CCD camera canon eos 30d is dirty and the technician tells me I can buy a new ccd. This dirt is stuck. It's very noticeable when I take photos in clear sky .. Where sold CCD Camera Canon EOS...

If you have dirt on the sensor, it can be cleaned using special products. If you Google the words "how to clean an SLR sensor", you will find sites that explain the procedure with pictures and places where you can order the supplies needed. This is much less expensive than trying to replace the ccd sensor.

Why is the LCD Purple on my IXUS 970is when i turn it on? Photos also appear purple with vertical lines on them

That really sounds like CCD image sensor failure. This is something that you cannot repair yourself. How old is your camera? Is it still under warranty? Even if it's not, recommend contacting Canon, as such failure in recent cameras is very unusual. They may offer to repair it no cost, you never know. 1-800-OK-CANON for U.S. or Canada.

Suddently my photos have too much purple and are grainy.

To start remove camera battery for one minute, this will reset settings to factory.

If pictures are all purple and shady , and this is not a setting problem , then it is usually a bad CCD sensor.

On many models (depending on year) CCD sensor repair will be entirely covered by Canon. Give them a call to check it out.

Purple Tint Sky

auto white balance should work OK. I was thinking maybe you had accidentally switched it to the Fixed setting. Hmm. You said you were using Normal and Landscape modes. Just to see how it works, I would suggest switching from Program mode to Full Auto. See if that fixes your purple skies. I don't know why it would, but it is something to try
