03 is drain error, as you know. The machine is sensing that the water isnt draining enough in 5 minutes...Unless there is an electronic problem the main reasons for the error code is because the drain hose is blocked, or the pump has something preventing it from turning, like a coin jammed in the impeller, or the pump motor itself needs to be replaced....These pump motors tend to get detritis in behind the impeller shaft seal and this often causes the pump to fail.....Good luck....Nomess

My similar washing machine gives an OE error. It washes but won't spin giving the OE error. Please help

OE error code indicates that the washer is unable to drain the water it used during the wash cycle. OE can be triggered by a kinked drain hose or a clogged drain pump filter..... please clean drain hose back side of washing machine.. Thank you

Machine had been giving E20 error code - filter cleared and it re-started ok. When wash was in progress - jammed at rinse stage and all lights came on (except spin speeds) and humming noise and nothing...

E20 is an error code for drainage failure.

Check where the appliance drain hose connects to the house drains for a blockage.

If it's onto a spigot under the sink, take them off and check both for a blockage.

If these are ok then it's likely to be a blockage in the pump.

You'll need to drain the water out manually.

Put a shallow dish below the filter and slacken the filter.

Tighten it to stop the flow of water while you empty the dish.

Once empty, take the filter out, clean out the debris and ensure nothing is left jamming the pump.

Before refitting the filter, put the machine on drain or spin and listen at the filter housing to see if you can hear the pump running.

If you do, fit the filter and try the machine again.

My LG WT 8071TTP has suddenly decided not to do the rinse or spin cycle, water not emptying from drum, LED screen shows "Oe" as the error report, can't find my manual, please help.

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service.

*Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.
Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.

*Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.

*Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confirm that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.

Hope this helps.. Good luck! ;)

My machine wont drain or spin. if i maually empty, it will eventually start a wool wash but then says error e20 but filter is clean and no kinks or blockage in drain pipe. should i replace outlet pump?

Do the following.

1. Switch off the machine, unplug or disconnect the mains AC power to the machine and turn off the water supply to the machine.
2. Remove the filter access panel.
3. Remove the filter and make sure that the filter is not blocked and is clean and clear of all debris. Clean as required. Note that depending on the machine type you may get a lot of water coming out of the filter when you remove it if the machine has not drained successfully. Note that if the machine has stopped and not fully drained then you may be able to drain out the excess water by removing or disconnecting the waste hose and laying it on the ground in a tray. It may take a few minutes to empty but it will save a small flood.
4. Proceed by checking the drain hose for proper connection and kinks and make sure that it is not blocked.
5. Also check that the main waste drain pipe, if you use one, is not blocked and clean if required.
6. Reconnect the power and switch the machine on.
If the problem persists then do the following.

7. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power.
8. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure it is operational.
9. Remove the connecting hoses, and expect water to drain out and make sure the pipes are not blocked with debris or any object blockage.
10. Makes sure the pump appears clear and that the impeller looks in good condition.
11. Reconnect the hoses and then reconnect power and switch the machine on.
12. If problem has not been corrected, then remove the pump and check that the drive coupling to the motor is OK and that the motor turns OK. If all is well then replace the pump.

Hotpoint aquarius 1200 wont empty and I cannot find the filter to try and clean it out

HI. the filter is mounted on the drain pump housing. You will need to disassemble the unit to access the filter. Here are some other areas i would check, also.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

NOTE-If the hoses filter, and pump check out ok, this will confirm that there is a serious issue within the actual control sector(Timer module or control board). It should be replaced i this case.

Kenmore Elite HE3t which F21 code

I'm guessing the HOSE is the drain hose.
The goop is causing the drain motor to overheat causing it to report error. (luckily or it'd burn out).
Give it a empty load with nothing in it to see if it flushes it all out.
Just water.
See if it completes full cycle and check pump filter again to see if clean.
TIP. Make sure you check ALL pockets before you wash clothes.

Code E20 appeared machine unable to drain, emptied water by hose at bottom of machine now unable to excess filter to check for any objects struck in filter any clues

Am giving you details of another machine, Frigidaire Affi, but you will surely find it useful. E20 is the same.

Plug off the mains. First drain out all your water by lowering the exit hose into a bucket or drain. You have to look for screws below the front kick-panel, the panel comes down & out. (You may find the drain hose here, on left) The pump is on the right side. Be prepared for dirty water. Inside the big flexible tube (coming from the tub bottom) is the filter, be prepared to find all sorts of junk here, clean out. Examine your pump also, clean out the impeller. Carefully refit all. Your machine would be fine. Don’t wait for the machine to jam to look into your filter.

Machine can't get rid of the water gives no drain message

The motor is burnt out. When it is cool it will pump water out, but as it heats up and the insulation on the windings break-down is short-circuits and stops.
