((I think this solution may work for this camera too))
In my case my card didn't have any switch. I had a micro SD card connected to and SD adapter.
That msg showed up in my screen after i connected the camera to my PC and took a few pictures out of it.
When
i connect back the camera to my PC i realize that the folder where all
my pictures were inside the camera, was HIDDEN (Is not visible if you
dont have "show hidden folders" in Windows "ON". So what i did was,
turn that option ON first:
Open any folder and in the menu, under
TOOLS go to > FOLDER OPTIONS > VIEW> Hidden files and folders
> Show hidden files and folders. (On Windows XP)
After that
you should see a "transparent" folder as soon as you click on your
icon's camera. Right click on that folder, go to properties, and uncheck
HIDDEN.
Your folder will be visible now. Unplug the camera and the problem should be gone.
BTW i still dont know, why that folder was hidden. Im sure i didnt do it.
Do the foowing instructions please:
1. Turn off your camera.
2. Remove your memory card.
3. Switch the position of memory card.
4. Install the memory card to its own place.
5. Turn on the camera.
I hope this will help you.
SOURCE: i want to delete a photo but i won't it it appears
you need to 'unprotect' the image then you should be able to delete it.
