I just purchased a Luminox watch on ebay with a stainless steel band, I know the band is not big enough for my wrist, I'm going to need a couple of links, the watch has not arrived as of this date, the seller told me the size of the band and I wear a larger size, when it arrives I want to get the number off the back and contact Luminox, I'm ahead of myself, I just want to know that to do when it does get to me.

Try parsecent.com they can get the part or a substitute part, the keeper is not sold separately tho, you would have to buy a complete band...good luck :)

Purchased fossil ladies watch am4183 at Macy's, stainless steel band is too big, is this band adjustable, if so how.
Check the sides of watch band and you will see the pin ends. They are holding all links together. If there are arrows inside the watch band, they are pointing the way the pins must come out.
To shorten the band you have to:
Extract the pins.
Take link(s) off.
Join the rest of band together and drive pins back.

Looking at your watch it looks like the clasp on the SS model is just a double deployant preasure fit. If it is brand new sometimes these style of deployants are vary tight.

It is Stainless Steel it is vary difficult to break it looking at the construction of the bracelet.

Basically you just Pull, there is no button it is just pressure fit.
